THE BENEFITS
The HydraPatch® provides you with a variety of electrolytes and essential nutrients that your body needs to manage proper hydration levels. Here is a breakdown along with the benefits of each:
CORE ELEMENTS
The HydraPatch® provides you with a variety of electrolytes and essential nutrients that your body needs to manage proper hydration levels.
Magnesium
An electrolyte essential for over 300 enzymatic processes in our body. It is needed for protein synthesis, RNA/DNA synthesis and expression, insulin response, muscle building – you name a body process and magnesium will likely have a role – somewhere, somehow.
Calcium
Along with phosphate are the most abundant minerals in the body. It is involved in neural pathways, contraction of all muscle types, fertilization and as a coagulation factor.
Potassium
One of the most abundant electrolytes in the body. It controls a dynamic range of functions from contraction of heart and skeletal muscle, nerve conduction, to hormone secretion.
Sodium
Another essential electrolyte, that regulates blood volume, blood pressure, osmotic equilibrium and acid base regulation.
Chloride
Another essential electrolyte that plays an important role in transmitting the brain’s signals through neurons and in cell homeostasis.
Phosphorus
Required for all known forms of life. It plays a major role in the structural framework of DNA and RNA. As a structural component of the body’s basic energy unit – ATP – it forms the energy currency of the cell, and also as a part of phospholipids, the main structural components of all cellular membranes. Additionally, as a part of the compound Calcium phosphate, it helps in preserving bone integrity.
Menthol
A compound used for its properties of pain relief, cooling sensation and vasodilation (relaxing of the circulatory system). Its benefit is promoting absorption of compounds that would not permeate the skin under normal conditions.
DMSO
A chemical agent that allows absorption of compounds across the skin which wouldn’t normally permeate on their own. While it is approved for pharmaceutical use for preventing tissue damage from chemotherapeutic agents, it is also being considered in various stages of approval for its anti-inflammatory, analgesic and antioxidant qualities.
Peppermint Oil
Peppermint oil is derived from the peppermint plant, a cross between water mint and spearmint - that thrives in North America. Peppermint oil is also used for a variety of health conditions and can be used topically to enhance ingredient permeation through the skin, with a pleasant spa-like scent for consumers.
Vitamin B3
Known to correct niacin deficiency, reduce cholesterol and triglycerides in blood, dilate blood vessels if taken in doses larger than 75 mg, and treat vertigo (dizziness) and ringing in ears. Vitamin B3 may also reduce the risk of heart attacks, may reduce depression, may reduce migraine headaches, and potentially improves poor digestion.
Vitamin B5
Promotes normal growth and development, aids release of energy from foods and may stimulate wound healing.
Vitamin B6
Pyridoxine, functions to increase the amount of magnesium that can enter cells and thus provides a synergistic and beneficial effect when combined with magnesium. Vitamin B6 also facilitates the production of progesterone and reduces inflammatory reactions in connective tissue and collagen repair.
Vitamin B12
Cobalamin cyanocobalamin, assists in the proper absorption of other vitamins. Both vitamin B6 and vitamin B12 promote brain function, transfer food into energy within cells, and neutralize homocysteine which is a toxic by-product of protein metabolism and a risk factor for heart disease.
Leucine
Leucine is one of the 3 branched chain amino acids. These amino acids can be used by skeletal muscle to give energy during exercise. Leucine may help healing of skin & bones. It may increase muscle growth & lean body mass, Leucine is considered to be the main & most important BCAA for many benefits it provides to the body.
HYDRATE SMARTER®
The HydraPatch® is also infused with multiple B-Vitamins which are a class of water-soluble compounds that play an important role in cell metabolism. Each vitamin is either a co-factor for key metabolic processes or is a precursor needed to make one.
Our bodies may be prone to dehydration when sleeping. Sleeping is a crucial recovery time for the body, when the energy that runs the bodies’ systems can be dedicated almost solely to rebuilding. During resting periods, our bodies begin to repair and refuel. The HydraPatch® will manage the infusion of electrolytes and essential nutrients while you sleep.
The HydraPatch® is an all-encompassing wellness tool that will allow you the opportunity to manage healthy levels of hydration, perform and feel better, all through the convenience of simply applying to your skin. Additionally, you won’t have to worry about taste, pills and/or calories.
