As a 65 year old cyclist in Southern Florida in the winter and Cape Cod in the summer, I'm used to high heat, wind and humidity. Cramping and bonking was always an issue for me when doing longer rides.

I discovered Hydro Patch at the 2023 New York City Marathon and it’s been glued to my race-day routine ever since. I run half marathons and fulls, and this little patch keeps me feeling steady—energized and hydrated—without the sloshy stomach or constant cup grabs.

Biggest win? Fewer bathroom breaks and fewer hydration-station stops, which has shaved real time off my races. This patch smells like a pickle and hydrates like crazy. I have POTS, dysautonomia, Sjorgrens, hypothyroidism, and a spinal cord injury. My energy levels are very low and I dehydrate easily. I'm writing a follow up review to the one I wrote back in February 2025. My son plays Academy level soccer and had been complaining of getting cramps during his soccer games. I initially bought a 3 pack, then a 10 pack and most recently a 30 pack. My son has now started to wear a patch at bedtime after a very strenuous game to see what his recovery would be like. It has been everything he (and I) have hoped for. No more cramping after tough games and still no cramping during games. We did notice a pattern of cramping when he has forgotten to wear a patch. I am notorious for under hydrating during training runs and rides. Since I have started incorporating Hydra Patch’s into my long training events I have had less fatigue and no cramping even during summer training! I know I know .. drink water! But for those who forget or who don’t like adding items to their bottles cause they are afraid of the gut punch … this is a great alternative!

I've been using HydraPatch as a necessary part of marathon training for over a year. Fall marathons are great come race day, but the hot and humid summer training can and will take it out of you. I feel significantly better during and after long training runs when I use my HydraPatch. I cannot recommend this product highly enough. Even though they are facing challenges right now w/ shipping, pre-order! Customer service is 5 stars, and the wait will DEFINITELY be worth it!

I'm currently going through chemotherapy for breast cancer & needed some help with hydration after treatment. I came across these patches & so thankful that I did! They are absolutely a game changer for someone in my current situation!!!
